Terms of Use

Last updated: September 26, 2026 · AccountableHub is a program of Kinbridge Global (501(c)(3) pending)

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using AccountableHub (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. What the Platform Is

AccountableHub provides access to public government data — currently IRS 990 filings and the ProPublica Nonprofits dataset — along with derived accountability scores and alert services. The Platform is in private beta. Features described as "Roadmap" are not yet available and are described for informational purposes only.

3. Public Data Disclaimer

All content on the Platform is derived from publicly available government sources. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Accountability scores are computed algorithmically from public filings and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. Do not rely on this data for compliance, legal, or investment decisions without independent verification.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform for lawful purposes including research, journalism, civic education, and nonprofit oversight. You may not:

5. Intellectual Property

The underlying public government data is not owned by AccountableHub. Our original work — the accountability scoring methodology, platform design, and software — is © 2026 Kinbridge Global. You may cite and quote our analysis with attribution.

6. No Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular data is accurate or current.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinbridge Global and AccountableHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Nonprofit Status

AccountableHub is operated as a program of Kinbridge Global, a Delaware nonprofit corporation with 501(c)(3) status pending. No representation is made that donations to Kinbridge Global or AccountableHub are currently tax-deductible. This notice will be updated when the IRS determination letter is received.

8A. Bill Advocacy Pricing Draft, not yet offered

Self-help tools (Bill Check, price comparison, dispute-letter templates, public records) are free. A planned Full-Service Bill Advocacy option would cost 1% of verified savings. No savings, no fee. These terms are pending legal review and are not in effect.

  1. Verified savings = original balance owed (per an itemized bill or statement dated before engagement) minus the final amount owed, as confirmed in writing by the provider, insurer or collector. Charity-care write-offs and insurance reprocessing count. Discounts you already had before engagement do not.
  2. Invoiced only after written confirmation of the reduction, with the calculation shown. Due within [30] days.
  3. No upfront fees. Cancel any time before a reduction is confirmed and owe nothing. Fee cap: [optional, to be decided].
  4. If a reduction comes with a payment plan, the fee is based on the reduced total.
  5. Fee questions: [email protected]. We recalculate from the documents and refund any overcharge.
  6. Legal-fee disputes: benchmark data and templates only, with referral to your state bar's fee-arbitration program or a licensed attorney. We do not represent you.
  7. AccountableHub is a billing-advocacy service, not a law firm, debt-settlement company or insurer. [State licensing requirements to be confirmed by counsel.]

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post changes to this page and update the date above. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Not legal, medical, or financial advice. AccountableHub provides information and self-help tools. We are not a law firm, and using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Dispute letters are templates you review, edit, and send yourself. Markup figures compare a hospital's average charge with Medicare's average allowed amount from public CMS data (2022) and do not mean your specific bill is unlawful. Attorney grades summarize public bar records that may be incomplete or out of date. Always verify with the state bar. For legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your state; for medical decisions, consult your clinician.
